Get those animals off those horses!

Everyone who has ever been afraid of police on horseback, check out this movie from Chile two weeks ago, effective People's Power against the police, who have to run for their lives:

I'd still be a bit afraid of properly trained police horses. They were a bit of a shambles, to be honest. Very telling shots at end of the police limping away. Horses were a liability, frankly.

You might be right about the training although given that they've just had to leg it whilst getting pelted, I imagine those horses would be pretty difficult to control anyway, but I think the cop's weakness here was total lack of numbers. As been seen time and again, mounted police can't hold lines, they're for shock and dispersion. Which only works if you have piggies on foot to support charges and shield the horses when they're not. Good video though, I liked that all the journos were getting up in the cops faces.

dunno but it looks something like cops trying out horses for the first time against demonstrators. Pretty useless especially when you think how the british cops would have lined up a load more horses and charged people head on...aka

Its a false victory.
If you think the rioters won then you are deluded. Police could of picked off first line at the knee caps sending rioters scattering. Rioters just had stones. Police held back in a big way to protect the rioters welfare.

although i fully support attacking the police...indeed they are a legitimate target. but the horses are enslaved by the same system that we fight against and therefore are not targets.
i recall a slogan from a no borders camp a few years back when we were confronting the enemy on horseback:
ne pas attaquer les chevaux!
which translates as do not attack the horses.

that said, it was great to see the cops getting beat once they had been felled.

but again, DO NOT ATTACK THE HORSES!

If the rioters are being attacked by the horses, then the rioters would be fools not to defend themselves. If horses start it - then the rioters should attack them.

I love how so many of my comments are deleted by the moderators but a thread praising attacking horses stays up, no problem. I hope all these violent idiots get big prison sentences. Disgusting. Pricks! And to the person who posted this, fuck you, you verminous waste of space.
