The Isle of Wight is privileged to have the company of the internationally renowned speaker Nicole Foss.

Nicole has the outstanding ability to take seemingly complex and fragmented issues, such as energy, finance, psychology, population, real politik, environment , and their interactive dynamics, she pulls them in..... to view them under one holistic central lens of coherence.... she explains how they are affecting each... and every one of us..... as we affect them, and what we must do as a collective to prepare and adapt.

Polymath Nicole has impeccable credentials with academic qualifications including a BSc in biology from Carleton University in Canada ( primarily on neuroscience and psychology), a post-graduate diploma in air and water pollution control, the common professional examination in law and an LLM in international law in development from the University of Warwick in the UK. She was granted the University Medal for the top science graduate in 1988 and the law school prize for the top law school graduate in 1997.

Foss runs the Agri-Energy Producers' Association of Ontario, where she has focused on farm-based biogas projects and grid connections for renewable energy. While living in the UK she was a Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, where she specialized in nuclear safety in Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union, and conducted research into electricity policy at the EU level. Such insight gives her extraordinary powers of analysis to provide a leading light through turbulent times, and a focus on why we must leave old policies behind us as we move into transitional times.

Her presentations are emotional roller coaster journeys that are delivered with an intelligent narrative cutting through with a truthful, and erudite grace, whilst simultaneously leaving you on the edge of your seat.

This is, without doubt, an absolutely unique opportunity that simply should not be missed.

Given the gravity of the predicament, we hereby invite you, the community, to join this conversation.
