Nottinghamshire Police security arrangements ahead of the Queens visit to market Square, Nottingham

Similar arrangements were made at Princess Anne's visit, when the Market Square was opened by her, a few years ago.

Wild goose chases

Oh look a troll.

The police decided to take themselves to Scotland, where a group of international criminals (including the No 1 terrorist in the world and his British poodle) had gathered in a hotel. Instead of doing their jobs and arresting these criminals the police were busy causing trouble to people who were standing up for society by protesting against the criminals.

Some time after it was all over I was chatting with a Kirk minister, who said that after the experience of members of the kirk, who had gone to nearby Gleneagles to make their views on third world debt known, she would never trust the police again.

While they were busying themselves in Scotland some maniacs were busy plotting to blow people up on trains. The police only have themselves to blame for failing in their duty.

I was there in Scots land for the G8 and the vast majority of the police were Strathclyde, Borders and Cumbria. They bought a few Met in who were rather enjoying being bussed around in Chinook helicopters. Beats shlepping about on council estates in North London sorting out wife beaters and kids hanging around on corners I suppose!

To suggest that London was short during the bombings in revenge for the Iraq war is daft to say the least!!

London had a full compliment and still got rolled out flat like a pancake!

Its what you get for invading foreign countries I suppose.

The above poster is no doubt police 'intelligence', as s/he conflates non-violent protesters with actual terrorists.

The Met Police 'Intelligence' officers were busy picking on soft targets and using the Terrorism Act against legitimate protesters in Scotland, while actual terrorists were planting bombs in London.

Police 'Intelligence', by spending their time on political policing, were complicit in the London bombings. Are you proud of that, '.. if you're a terrorist.'?
