Yesterday two demonstrations took place is Leeds and Manchester in protest to dogs 4 us

The Manchester protest was the larger of the two as Manchester is the main store. The Manchester store had over 25 protesters and 5 dogs (all welcome on our demo’s ). People driving up to the main store  were horrified to find out about Dogs4us dirty dealing and many turned around and refused to buy from Dogs4us once they knew the truth.

Many people honked and tooted in support of what we were doing, many leaflets were distributed  and people came and spoke to activists about not buying but adopting instead.
The Leeds protest was really angry and loud to get it through to Dogs4us that we mean business. Protesters line the driveway of Dogs4us, 4 megaphones blasted the store and all day the company had very few customers at all!

There was police at the door of Dogs4us, at the gates and two police vans obviously doing a great job of putting off customers! As the day when on and very few customers came to Dogs4us, the staff’s faces fell as they stood by the door with nothing to do.
The activists made it clear to Dogs4us this is a new phase in the campaign. No longer will we stand quietly at the other side of the road. Enough is enough! We are ready to do whatever it takes (within the law) to shut them down or get them to stop selling puppies!

This campaign will not stop until Dogs4us stop selling puppies and we are going from strength to strength. In around a month of the new phase of the campaign we have over 3000 likes on our Facebook page (more than Dogs4us) over 10,000 Twitter followers and an online group of 1000 activists. But this is just the start we are ready and one way or another Dogs4us will stop selling puppies!

A great big thank you to all that came to the demonstrations in Manchester and Leeds. But this is just the start we are ready and one way or another Dogs4us will stop selling puppies!

As we have seen from the long running SHAC campaign standing outside premises and shouting through megaphones at staff who ignore you is certainly effective.

NOT !

When will the AR movement learn the lessons of its repeated failure ?

Shades of SHAC with their "we never give up, we always win"

They did give up, they didn't win.

Look at AR campaigns that have targeted breeders and other businesses of Dogs4us size - It always works actually.
