A look inside the abandoned Merchiston Hospital

Merchiston Hospital was a hospital for mental health descended from Broadfield Hospital which was opened in 1925 and catered for mentally deficient men. Broadstone House was purchased by Paisley Burgh in 1929 to accommodate mentally deficient females and juveniles. Broadfield and Broadstone were administered as a single hospital.

What exactly do you consider to be News then ? On June 2nd these people put up a video about the Closure of a Hospital, so the video is the News. The media is the message, or what ever.
As I understand it a large percenatage of what is printed in the mainstream media is made up entirely of press releases, then there is all the tit's and bums gossip a collection hearsay and dodgy half truths. This story about the long lost looney bin is certainly more news worthy than most of that. Your Israel quip is in another ball game ..innit !
