Indymedia moderator 'freethepeeps' has been veracious in hiding my two posts today and has given an explanation on the Moderation lists as to why he or she did it.
I have replied directly to him or her via email but I think it's worth this discussion being public as well. (in my experience emails to the Moderation list very rarely make through to the public list if one is not part of the inner moderation collective)

I reposted this article because it was hidden and I'm glad to say
notification to the Moderation lists was given.
The article was hidden by 'freethepeeps' who is a very active moderator
with a long history of being anti Israeli and a supporter of the Arab
Socialist Ba'ath Party so I assume he or she also hid my posts detailing
the killings in Syria.
It remains to be seen what will happen now.

So, if he knows where the list is - why isn't he giving us the article
numbers for the Syria and Bahrain articles where this pro-Israel buffoon
has friends who are putting their lives at risk to get him p0hotos to post
to the newswire?
If only he wasn't an inveterate liar ......

My response
In the first place I'm not sure what I have done that makes me an "inveterate liar" but I will give 'freethepeeps' the benefit of the doubt and assume he or she is confusing me with someone else. Let me move on to the key point of the reasons given why my posts were hidden.
I said that I put up three posts covering the uprisings in Bahrain and Syria and these were hidden. When they were hidden there was no explanation, no notification to the Moderation lists and no response to my emails asking why they were removed. They even went from the 'View All Posts' pages.
Despite this been clearly stated in my post 'freethepeeps' then asks for the "article numbers" information he or she must know full well I do not have because all that information has been removed by the moderators.
I have just be running through the article numbers on the 'View All Posts' page and the removal of posts entirely from the site seems to be commonplace with a number of gaps in the numerical sequence.
I think the Indymedia community deserves an explanation.
