Occupy Brookes demo confronts Vice Chancellor

An unexpected opportunity for action took place today when people on a demo at Occupy Brookes spotted the University VC leaving the building and decided to confront her...
Today's demo was to put pressure on Oxford Brookes management ahead of their meeting tomorrow (Thursday), which will take place in London, presumably to avoid protest.
A discussion took place before the demo, lots of new ideas were raised and several people mentioned the need to continue the campaign in some form after this year's finalists have left, so that it can outlive the current mobilisation.

Like 99% of student campaigns it will fizzle out as the participants achieve maturity, get jobs and look back on the 'activist' days with amused embarrassment.
In the words of Neil Kinnock,
"Political protesters that are still protesting after they are 25 have not yet worked out the way to achieve change"
