Squats across London raided in the run up to May 15 day of action

Occupy LSX | 18.04.2012 15:31

Squats across London have recently been raided in the run up to the May 15 day of action by Occupy LSX. The Finsbury Square camp and the Leyton Marsh camp have also been subjected to police harassment with tent searches and people there questioned about what is planned for May the 15th.

It looks like a huge police operation is due to swing into action to stifle any protests on May 15. Most likely due to the forthcoming Olympics which will see large parts of London placed under security lockdown.

ehm, don't you think it's a bit of a scandalist title?
our place didnt get raided. neither did any in our area afaik.
combined with lack of specific information....
can you please try and refrain from spreading seeds of panic? it's bad enough with the ban that's meant to come into play some time soon...
