claimantsfightback | 16.04.2012 19:08 | Public sector cuts | Social Struggles

Meet outside McDonalds in Leicester Square at 1.30pm - Wednesday 18th April

Trade Unionists, Pensioners, Disabled People, Carers and all of us:

CALL TO ACTION!!!!!!!!!!

“We have no more to give. Our benefits, social care and support funding are fast disappearing. Hundreds of disabled people are losing their jobs. Pensioners, disabled people, carers and workers pay the costs of tax breaks for the highest earners. The health service is being carved up and sold through the back door, and large multinationals with profits of billions take on disabled and young people as free labour." - DPAC organizer.

Join us on 18th April to take action against:
- cuts to public services
- health & welfare reform
- forced labour.”
including benefit cuts, care funding and Loss of Remploy jobs.

How can I bring my Granny she was buried many years ago.
I don't want to detract from the event you are organsing but please don't assume that Indymedia, resistance, disabity, militancy etc are the exclusive perogative of the young. I am old enough to be someones granny but thanks for the offer, I don't need 'bringing' to protests.
I am sure you did not mean this but we have to be ever vigilant aginst slipping into discrimatory language.
