Watch the footage, you will see the Hamptead Heath wardens and the police arrive to stop us in our celebration. At one point a warden said we are on private land and had no right to decorate the stone and gather without first getting permission. Some other people took pictures and witnessed what went on..... please comment and post on Face Book and You Tube
 
The wardens later softened their approach ie changed their tune.

We claim our right to gather and celebrate on Wise Fools Day.
 
You are called to come to Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath, near the Gospel Oak cafe half way up Parliament Hill.
                                           CELEBRATE THE STONE OF FREE SPEECH.
 
Come to decorate the six foot stone from 1.00pm bring colourful decor and  food and drink to share.
The Gathering will commence at 2.00 - 4.00pm. AND LETS HAVE A PICNIC
 
THIS OLD WHITE STONE HAS BEEN STANDING FOR AROUND 200 YEARS.

Does the Stone of Free Speech offer us a sanctuary that needs to be protected ?
