HSA: Cotswold Vale Hunt and the unborn Fox Cubs

Raynard | 23.03.2012 14:28 | Animal Liberation | Ecology

The Cotswold Vale Fox Hunt killed a pregnant vixen on Tuesday 6th March this year.

While the kill was not seen on film, monitors heard the fox scream and managed to make their way on to land afterwards in an attempt to find evidence of the kill. It all happened so fast that monitors believe that the fox may have been a "bagged" fox that was released in front of the hounds. Terrier-men were quick to get into the area of the kill and remove the body of the vixen, but the vixen's unborn cubs were found scattered around the field by monitors.

Missing the Point

So ? It's a fox, they're vermin, that's why they need to be culled.

Some people with their sentimental anthropomorphising of animals are so out of touch with real life.

so what ?

Where's the evidence ?

I'm sorry but having viewed the film there is no evidence of what you allege in it. This is just 10 minutes of jerky shots covering some fields, people on horses and a bloke on a quad bike. The screaming you mention could have been anything.

I recognise the screaming

As somebody experienced with hunting I can confirm this is the death scream of a fox. No further evidence is required.
