Jock Palfreeman Solidarity Demo Report:

On Thursday the 15th of March a demonstration was held outside the Bulgarian Embassy in London in solidarity with Jock Palfreeman. The Anarchist Federation’s Stormy Petrel flag and banners with ‘Free Jock’ and ‘Leeds Anarchist Black Cross’ were displayed. About 30 people turned-up to the picket including comrades from Brighton, Bristol, Norwich, Reading, London AF, Surrey/Hants AF, Staines Anarchists, Leeds Anarchist Black Cross, London ABC, ALARM and the Traveller Solidarity Network. Leaflets explaining Jock Palfreeman’s case were handed out and a Bulgarian Flag was burnt in front of the embassy.

Personally I think the action is cool, but objectively it reminds me the 'Life Of Brian' film. 30 people and so many organisations, that's a bit funny.

The rather obvious difference being that the representatives of the different groups who attended Thursday's demo are all comrades working together.

Personally I think the action is pathetic. It shows that most Anarchists in this country are more interested in fashion statements and thinking up new names for the same bunch of unwashed young men yet to lose their virginity who when not on "actions" are wanki.ng off over "Call of duty" on the play station.
