Help needed to find a new site for occupy lsx

occupy lsx | 07.03.2012 16:35

OccupyLSX is looking for new site after being evicted from St Paul's. Do you know of any suitable sites that could be used for occupy lsx in or very near to central London? If so please come along to the Finsbury Square camp near Moorgate tube and leave details of potential sites with one of the info team at the info tent.

Write down details of the location of the site and what the site is like including the size of the site. We want a site within close proximity to the City if possible. But will consider other sites in or near to The West End or along the South Bank.

split up into a few of small sites, not so close to the banks, but close to the working poor.

Is being monitored and ghettoised the most effective strategy of undermining the capitalist scum? Try a different approach. The working poor have always appreciated attacks on the ruling classes that damage their property, cost them money, and humiliate them. Whether this takes the form of riot, targeted destruction of property, or the reclamation of public space, it all contributes to the same goal.

If you want to win the propaganda battle then you need to fully understand who you are up against - you need to understand your enemies. Economic sabotage or mass manifestations are more effective than liberal posturing whilst the population are manipulated by the machinations of a consumer capitalist organism that trys to regulate and control each aspect of human life and experiences for the production of profit.

The opposite of the dominant system must be one which undermines the capitalist organism at each level that it controls our existence, be this laws, media, institutions of social indoctrination etc, in favour of co-operation and mutual aid.

Stop being so polite. The point is not to win over the chattering classes. If we are to look for an example in recent history, the Poll tax was defeated through bottom up organisations in every locality, not just the perceived centre, in which the necessity of defending people's lives justified the use of force.

Reistance to capitalism must be organic. It must not be fixed in a particular dogma or set of routines.

Resitance is fertile.

Suggestion: mass non payment of taxes

A lot of things in life come down to economics - we all have to have enough for food and shelter.

So how about a mass campaign of civil disobedience - encouraging people to fiddle taxes and scam money from government and the banks? The message can be: if politicians, banks, and big businesses can screw billions from the system, so can ordinary people take a few quid. Many people do this already, so you have a ready supply of participants. All it needs is politicising.

There is a nice incentive to join in with this action - you get money for doing it!

And it doesn't require self-sacrifice like living in a tent in the city, apart from the small risk of getting caught.
