news of a action by Vandals for Solidarity Cell - International Conspiracy of Revenge / FAI in Gorontalo, Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia - reposted from  http://325.nostate.net/?p=4425

29 & 30 January 2012

At the end of January 2012, some comrades in Gorontalo, Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia, made an action of solidarity to Eat & Billy, imprisoned members of the Long Live Luciano Tortuga Cell – International Revolutionary Front / FAI and other imprisoned anarchists. They sealed 4 ATMs from different banks around the city, by filling the glue in the card channel, covering the monitor with oil paint, and writing some solidarity slogans on the walls. They left two communiques in two different places of action, to be claimed under the name of Vandals for Solidarity Cell – International Conspiracy of Revenge / FAI Indonesia. We only just received this news now, the communiques were “never found” and the media surpressed information of the sabotage.

FREEDOM FOR EAT & BILLY, LUCIANO TOO AND ALL THE PRISONERS

The reason the media "surpressed information of the sabotage" is because a bunch of twerps vandalising a couple of cash-points would, even if was reported, rate somewhere below the "fire brigade rescue cat from tree" type stories in free newspapers like the Prestwich Advertiser ;)

Not that bad

Local people will see it and undertand whats happening. Fuck the mainstream press. Even if they did report it, they would only give a negative view on it. Better to work with the local population yourselves and win over support and let it spread to other areas with even better actions. Solidarity.

Message of fire from Hidayat (Indonesia)

Rough translation of Kokemi:

“Prisons exist in any State, against the existence of the State – against the well-being of Prison. Fight For Freedom.”

“The Egoist surely hates prison.”

“Long live the People of Bima who are still fighting. Anger will not stop here. Not inside or outside prison.”

***
Yayat alias Hidayat is one of the Makassar social combatants captured and imprisoned for actions in solidarity with the occupation of the port of Sape, which was made by the people of Bima. In this action, some State properties such as police stations were targeted for destruction. Until now, Hidayat is imprisoned by the State in detention without trial and the case is still protracted.

Yes, really, because if you read thier post, they wrote that they damaged the cashpoints but also wrote solidarity graffiti on the bank wall so that local people would get the message and know why the damage to bank property was carried out. So long as there is the message thats fine. People can make up thier own minds and no doubt many would likely have supported it. Especially in indonesia where poverty is rampant.
