It has been confirmed that four Sudanese, one coming from Coquelles detention centre in Calais and three from Paris, have been deported via Frankfurt to Khartoum last week.

A fifth person now faces deportation. Two attempts to deport have already been made but failed. On one occasion the individual resisted and the other the flight was cancelled. It is expected that a third attempt to deport will be made in the next few days. Three others continue to wait in Coquelles for possible deportations.

The prefect is the states representative in regions of france. The prefect is responsible for the final decision to grant asylum or deport sans papiers.

Contact the airlines complicit in the deportation.

Contact Lufthansa and Air France as soon as possible to tell them to stop being complicit with such inhumane deportations. Ask that they cancel the departure of the deportees because he/she could be killed or victime of inhuman treatments if deported to Sudan.
