I would like activists to read it as my novel includes veganism, skip-raiding, animal rights and off-grid living. Eighteen year old Miriam leaves her restrictive life with her parents and dramatically flees from her job at the Mercia Building society. At the Flying Horse vegetarian cafe, she meets disillusioned ex-animal rights activist Paul. Miriam persuades him to drive her down south and she's soon having the time of her life organising a rave in Somerset. But Paul cannot escape from the demons of his past and his dark secret threatens to destroy everything.
