Underground novel Outside Inside is now available as an e-book. Is it the first novel to cover animal rights, veganism and the New Travellers community?
My novel Outside Inside is published on the Amazon Kindle and it will be available as a paperback in the next few months. I would like activists to read it as my novel includes veganism, skip-raiding, animal rights and off-grid living. It's a coming of age / redemption story with an exciting, page-turning plot and engaging characters. It has been very warmly received so far, with five 5-star reviews on Amazon so far.
Eighteen year old Miriam leaves her restrictive life with her parents and dramatically flees from her job at the Mercia Building society. At the Flying Horse vegetarian cafe, she meets disillusioned ex-animal rights activist Paul. Miriam persuades him to drive her down south and she's soon having the time of her life organising a rave in Somerset. But Paul cannot escape from the demons of his past and his dark secret threatens to destroy everything.
Even if you haven't got a Kindle, you can download the first two chapters for free. I'd be really interested to know what you think. One of the main themes of the novel is the choice between non violence and the consequences of using violence by activists.
