They were killed in attack on a makeshift media centre set up by activists


As the attacks by the Israeli Air Force and Navy continue in Syria activists this morning learnt that journalist Marie Colvin has been killed.

A long term thorn in the side of the Israeli government for her coverage of their war crimes; speculation is growing that she may have been targeted by the IDF to prevent her telling the truth about the growing Israeli involvement in Syria.

The Israelis so called "surgical strikes" are now increasingly achieved via their submarine launched 'Delilah' cruise missiles rather than air attacks so there is an increased element of surprise.
