We have learned a lot since setting up the camp in Victoria Gardens and along with the other Occupy groups we are working to bring about the change we all know is needed. Occupy is an open and inclusive group and we encourage people to find out more, get involved and help us tackle the big problems. Our aim is to find solutions to the problems our society faces, which the government seems either unwilling or powerless to deal with. We aim to create a space where people can get involved in some well-informed discussions and positive actions to bring about this change.
The agenda will be coordinated from the occupybrighton.co.uk website which will pull together proposals for discussion. A final shortlist of points will be proposed and finalised before the meeting. To get involved in setting the agenda please visit our forum: occupybrighton.co.uk/forum our Facebook group or email: info@occupybrighton.co.uk
The meeting will follow the General Assembly process as described on the howtooccupy.org site. We maintain a "safer spaces " policy, as we want to provide a friendly environment safe for people of all ages.
