Peel Holdings Set to Profit from City Council Cuts

Peel Holdings 'owner' of Mersey Docks are set to profit from Liverpool City Council decision to pay repay £9M for landing stage.

The City Council had previously stated it would repay £5M but has now increased this amount.
This will mean further cuts in front line services.

Peel Holdings will be able to charge for each passenger using the landing stage even though it will not own the facility but is the 'owner' of the land to which the stage is attached.

Peel Holdings portray themselves as enterprising go-getters but are in fact just a land bank making no investments and collecting rent and running Liverpool into the ground.
