Blood & Iron

This is a message to the punks on Aceh island from inside the social conditions that have hit you like a toxic tsunami. Scattered and from far away, we are watching you in solidarity. In your undomitable will, that led you on the path walked by so many intimate witnesses of the banality of evil, we recognise ourselves, and in the iconic scenario of your entrapment we perceive echoes from our own hunts. Deep inside the ancient caverns of our tortured souls, we love you for what you are, because that is all we can do, love and fight, until we have permanently taken back our heads from the oppressors of humanity. In this age of discord and denial, we happened to experience what must end for everyone so that it can finally end for ourselves. Therefore, we are trying to stay alive and grasping for language to penetrate the flood of lies that were made from stolen truths. In seeing you face the very same challenges, we are humbly being reminded that everything we have not said we meant just like that.

We are fully aware that all organised religions are like dry rivers carrying toxic rills through deserts of heritage. Forced conversion in a fata morgana of inner beauty is not only a vicious threat against everyone wandering these wastelands in search of something else, it also is the very source of this contamination of religion itself - because it takes the element of informed consent out of spirituality, and with that its natural immunity against the insertion of forged traditions. At some unwritten point in human history, the shamans must have lost trust in each other, and some took advantage of it, so it went downhill from there - or whatever one might want to say in consideration of the fact that our species only spent the smaller part of our lifetime with regimes. The spiritual landscape of this day and age is in no better condition than the material one underneath our feet, mined with risks of unpredictable contamination, developed in many ways hostile to the human soul, and with the last apparent oases wasted for concentration camps - in the full ambiguity of the term in axis vocabulary, for history´s sake.

Rendering an individual there is the worst war crime of all. Piled on top of all the oppression and assaults, entrapments and murders, sexual exploitation and trauma, forced conversion is worst in terms of damage to the interests of humanity, because it steals the alternatives from both sides in the procedure, the souls abused in it, and the religions abused in it. And it never ends in any other way than death, whatever side is first to lose the will to live, because any compromise in it only means more of it against more of us, until it has filled an ocean of death with the toxin of regime force. There are many workarounds on the lower levels of war crime. It is possible to have protection against threat. It is possible to have assistance against deception. It is possible to have faith against abuse. But against being rendered beyond good and evil, in the best case it is only possible to have ceasefire lines across the soul and a timeless yearning for autonomy, and in the worst case ongoing fighting against continued intervention, provocation and intimidation until they finally cease.

Like all the other war crimes it comes wrapped into an ideology trying to paint it as good and helpful. But we all know that doing something which is meant to reach beyond reason for the wrong reasons is wrong - in the same sense as disinformation is worse than no information at all - and we want to avoid the unavoidable consequences of it, if not for these who harass us then at least for ourselves. Any collaboration with regimes trying to influence our choices regarding these issues would be such a mortal wrongdoing, because just like in a rape we can feel that the perpetrators know exactly that they do wrong but do not care, even if we might only be able to express in the aftermath what their intrusive ignorance means to our anarchist values. In these interesting times, in trying to create our own lives outside the unacknowledged prisons of capitalist kleptocracy, we are cautious not to contaminate ourselves with toxic traditions, and often choose to leave them entirely unused, until we have fully sorted out the quite mixed bag our ancestors left to us, and of course gone after the thieves who replaced good items with toxic ones while we slept.

Our confidence that this rotten system with that foul name is going to be finished in our predictable lifetime has always been stronger than any traditional bond, because this is the only original tradition of humanity, the iron will to live despite everything we had to experience from our conspecifics. Our blood is boiling and the Earth is quaking in reverberation of our fighting dance. Forced against the sovereignty of people like you and me, even the most fundamental truths become fundamentally wrong, because any addition of fresh alternatives is being excluded due to motivations which are always wrong. Forced conversion takes its most sinister expressions when it is being targeted and masqueraded. We believe you have been attacked with this for taking the same way of life some of us took as well, and we will never allow any such attack from anywhere against anyone... just like we would under no circumstances ever feed each other a spacecake without informed consent - let off a mixture with toxic ingredients as is organised religion today.

The word collateral damage is incapable to express the perfidy of this infinitely prolonged inner massacre. As we call the horrendous war crime committed against you what it is, we publicly reject the incoherent excuses of the perpetrators that they had been open about their ill intentions. In a world where the cameras which are being pointed at you like weapons are feeding a commercial spectacle that knows no borders, no limits and no respect, the heinous attack on your individual sovereignty is a proxy attack against the will of all of us, and certainly there was no openness about that. No one is so foolish to imagine that this was only a local threat on one or another side of this or that religious rivalry, or that the ongoing massacres being waged in the name of capitalist kleptocracy and its phony values were a continuation of politics with other means. Quite the contrary, the repressive farce which has put you into the centre of visibility is a continuation of the demented spectacle of the perishing regimes with other means.

Our experience of captivity in the corruption of our oppressors unites us in our cry for abolition, and your struggles are an anticipation of all our emancipation. We are certain that once the truth is spreading about these activities of the regimes currently in this world, all the organised religions are going to realise that what is poisoning them all together is precisely the same pattern of behaviour which they are used to reject when they have it coming from each other. Now we are confronted with sick jokes masquerading as spiritual guardians - the suicidal regimes, with the total helplessness of the organised religions against the psychological torture by these evil entities, and with our own lives being attacked most dastardly before we could safeguard them against a threat too unbelievable to be prepared against. In the triumphant theatrics of our oppressors, we are facing the deliberate collateral denial of the - in the full historical sense of the word: fascist - attack against our will to live, which we could only convincingly prove wrong if we would not have anything from the proof anymore. But we want to get out of that fraud alive, because we do not want to be alive to keep the fraud going. What is keeping us alive against baneful regime oppression and its forcefeeding of distorted ideas is the knowledge that we felt repelled by it even before we fully understood it, because it was wrong already before we dared to notice.

Once in a while it happens that one set of principles proves to be more beneficial than all others. This is a valid rule of thumb carried through many struggles and capable of carrying many dreams: The fewer the rules the more the freedoms. But one leg is not enough to stand upon. If the regimes can force us not to stay where we are, as a culture we can reach deeper than any organised religion ever went, and preserve and restore our freedoms with only two or three rules: Never try to change the mind of a person against their will. Never try to prevent a person from changing their mind according to their will. Keep both the easy and the difficult one. That is it, all of it, and it will take you back to the unwritten history of our ways, from where we can free our world from what happened to us, and reclaim what as a result of this became ours.
