It has been brought to the attention of anti fascists that waterstones book shop in Huddersfield have been exposed as nazis, they have been advertising and selling one of the most dangerous pieces of propaganda in the universe, Adolf Hitler`s Mein Kampf.

We urge all anti fascists to boycott waterstones and peacefully protest outside waterstones this saturday at 12 o clock in Huddersfield, we must defeat nazi propaganda.we must not allow this book to poison the minds of our nations youth.

I mean, people aren't dumb, and reading mein kampf isn't going to turn people into raving facists. The copy i've seen was heavily footnoted by the editor refuting the historical accuracy of the text. Plus, censorship isn't going to be constructive, even grass roots censorship, the book is a historical artifact that allows us to see into the mind of one of the most influential fascists that ever lived, this is a valuable thing if we want to fight fascism in our communities, know your enemy and all that.

Most good book shops have it. I own a copy. It's a part of history. Do you think the majority of EDL/BNP idiots have read it or for that matter a single book of any variety?

The way this post is written doesn't ring true - I could be wrong but it does smell like a troll to me: "waterstones have been exposed as nazis" - lol.

You can download Mein Kampf off the internet if you want - I have, and I have read it too. It's an interesting historical artefact. I would go so far to say it is a must-read for all anti-fascists, as it is important to know your enemy, and to learn how they think, and to learn lessons from the past.
