Occupy Hackney – an update from D15

Occupy Hackney had a great afternoon in Mare Street with more than over forty Hackney based occupiers coming together.
There was a local samba band, cinema in the evening screened onto the wall of the old town hall, lots of people stopping and asking questions, kids dancing, flyers given out plus some interactive boards with pens for residents to record what they feel are the problems of Hackney and what makes Hackney beautiful.
