Protest at Leeds/Bradford airport this saturday

protest at airport baggage charges on working class people

A couple of weeks the Daily mail ran a story on how airport users are charged extortionate amounts of money for having slight excess weight on their luggage. Most people who use companies such as Ryanair are working class people who do not have masses of money, they are tricked into using so called low cost airlines only to ripped off at the airport.
The Ryanair baggage charges are on the small print on their website, so most people will not be aware of these rip off charges, recently one passenger was tricked out of eighty pound at Leeds/Bradford where the counter assistant explained that the baggage cost would be twenty pounds and then put the luggage straight through, the passenger was horrified when he opened the receipt to discover that the counter assistant had actually wrote eighty pound on the receipt!

Frequently old age pensioners are charged an extra forty pound at the airport for slight excess on their hand baggage, this is a disgusting attack on working class people by capitalists!

As anti-capitalists we must defend working class people, this saturday there will be a protest outside Leeds/Bradford airport at 12.00 mid-day where we will hand leaflets out to the general public warning them of potential airport baggage charges.

Why not tell them to boycott flying altogether?

Or alternatively you could hand out leaflets informing them that their actions are reponsible for global climate change? If they don't fly they don't have to pay the baggage charges and they help the environment.

It is everyone's moral responsibility to avoid flying where possible. Wanting to go on holiday isn't a valid reason to use this wasteful and dirty form of transport.

Frankly people that fly to go on holiday are criminals just like those working for the oil industry, they are in cahoots with them and a part of the problem.
