Dusty & Dylan - Fur is Dead!

Retro boutique, Dusty and Dylan, are currently selling a number of full length fox fur coats.

Despite being made aware of the cruelty which forms a part of the trade in animal pelts, owner Helen Adderley continues to purvey these items.

During the farming of foxes for their fur, the animals are forced to live in bare wire mesh cages little bigger than themselves. Stereotypic behaviour, such as self mutilation and cannibalism, is rife.

When it comes to being killed, the story isn’t much prettier. Electrocution is one preferred method, where foxes are literally burnt to death inside out with a high voltage shock. Other ways of slaughtering include gassing, throats being slit and even skinning animals alive.

Please boycott Dusty & Dylan and contact them to let them know fur is always dead:

:: SAMPLE LETTER ::

Dear Dusty & Dylan,

I was sickened to hear that your shop is currently selling items containing real fur.

Inside fur farms, animals are treated with appauling cruelty. Caged in isolation, they often gnaw at their own limbs to vent their frustration. Undercover investigations have also revealed sick and injured animals left to die.

When it comes to slaughter, animals are gassed, electrocuted and sometimes even skinned alive.

Until you stop selling real fur, I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Yours Sincerely,
[Name]

This is what you are spending your time on ? It's a few animals for God's sake which end up as a few expensive coats hardly a big issue.

The AR nutters who troll IMC with shit like this really do think that the rights of animals matter so it is logical that they will campaign for a shop to stop selling fur as though it was as important a subject as child poverty, education, climate change etc. I lived for three years in California where loonies like PETA almost bought some groups to their knees with non stop rubbish like this.

Top of the food chain

It's a very big issue to the animals who are being abused.

I guess you also criticise people who fight against child pornography, as it's "only a few children getting abused"?

It is YOU who are the trolls here, not compassionate people fighting animal abuse.

What do you spend your time on which is so wonderful that you think we should all drop what we are doing and follow you? Let me guess - you are one of those windbags that does nothing but slag off what other people do?
