Smash EDO Talk at Occupy Sheffield

On Monday 14th November, campaigners from Brighton came to talk at Occupy Sheffield about the campaign against the arms trade with Israel, and specifically the campaign to shut down the EDO factory, which supplies parts used against civilians in Palestine, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Yet - despite the contributions, comments, criticisms of many diverse, Sheffield groups who are or have been "doing positive things" over the years....it seems that of ALL the many "activists", politicos, socialists, lefties, protestors, churchy type do-gooders and so many more "star readers" galore, etc........that a WHOLE 10 of the Great Sheffield....media reading/watching/listening public(they MUST have heard of Israel, Palestine, Afghanistan by now, surely, surely, SURELY they must?), turned out for this important daytime event on Monday 14th November.

Way to go, Sheffield.

Perhaps you were all out at work in your well - paid, secure, ahem, cough, jobs...or busy learning stuff in your "safe european homes" - or maybe the truth is you really DO BELIEVE that Osama Bin Laden, REALLY IS dead?..no, really.!
