AR: Day of action against SRCL in Leeds, 4 arrests.

InFo | 14.11.2011 15:56 | Animal Liberation

Animal activists staged a day of protest against SRCL in Leeds today (clinical and specialist waste management) SRCL is the company that transports the dead bodies away of animals that are bred for vivisection at Harlan interfauna UK. Many of these dead animals are merely excess 'stock' which cannot be sold, others bitches and studs worn out following years of intensive breeding.

Four arrests as news comes in. Updates to follow.

Impressive job NAVA

It is impressive that activists are prepared to defy the Harlan injunction, which covers its suppliers, and get themselves arrested.

Well done Luke – you are an inspiration!

Let’s hope that others realise that Timmy’s injunctions are not going to stop us!

Animal rights, human wrongs

So stopping vivisection is the best use of your time, people are suffering and dying from poverty, people are losing their lives from illnesses that could be cured did we know more about them, I love animals and don't like to see them suffer but I also know that if we want to help our fellow humans and cure diseases, then testing needs to happen.

Some people have their priorities way off. Doubt this will be popular on here but humans come before animals to me anytime.
