Up to 40,000 homeless school kids in NYC & no plan to house them. Billionaire Mayor Michael Bloomberg refused federal housing money, and now cuts off all aid to get thousands out of temporary shelters. There is no plan.

NYC is seeing record high numbers of homeless people this year, especially families.

After a political drive, it is now illegal to sit or lie down on a San Francisco street. Insightful interview on how the bankers and real estate interests play the homeless card.

The same bylaws are used to force out protesters at OccupySF and Occupy Oakland.

Most homeless people in D.C. are African Americans. There is an increase in homeless families in the nation's capital, right beside the limousines and the lobbyists.

Vancouver reports some progress, but the poor downtown are being forced out by real estate development.
