Defend the Factory Social Centre, Bristol - Wednesday

factory pigeons | 21.10.2011 18:43 | Free Spaces | Social Struggles

The Factory is a squatted autonomous space in St Pauls, Bristol. It has been occupied since March 2010. It currently provides housing for a large group of people as well as a number of projects. It is now under threat of eviction. Please join us for a march and demonstration against the proposed threat of eviction, this Wednesday.

We recently received court papers from the owner looking to gain a possession order on the building. Today we received new papers which brought the court date forward 5 days. Our court date will be on Wednesday 26th October at 2:30PM at Bristol Civil Justice Centre.

We don’t want to be moved on and we don’t want this building to be developed. We are asking for your support! Please join us for a March and Demonstration against the proposed threat of eviction. Assemble at Portland Square, St. Pauls at 12:00PM on Wednesday 26th October!

You do nothing for the cause against capitalism and the legitimate owners of this building ARE doing good for the community by developing/renovating this building for GOOD causes - you choose to IGNORE this and throw ridiculous misguided anarchic judgement at the owners to ultimately maintain your 'lifestyle' - end of. They have tried to help you but you vandalise and threaten and now expect people to support you? - you're despicable and the sooner the owners gain possession of their own building the better.
