BNP shown where to go in Worthing

The British National Party held a table top stall in Worthing, Sussex at the weekend. However, their stay was cut short with the arrival of anti-fascists...

In their words:

"British National Party activists were out in force this weekend with a table top in Worthing, Sussex. The table top was organised by Bognor and Littlehampton Organiser Cllr John Robinson.

‘Unfortunately, the day was cut short when the first of a handful of left-wing oxygen thieves approached our stand,’ reports our correspondent.

‘The first, a well-known communist extremist from West Worthing, started taking photos of our stand, and when he finished making phone calls, he proceeded to spit at Cllr John Robinson and attack the stand, shouting that he was going to get the “anarchists” to sort us out.

‘We noticed more left-wing oddballs arrive and decided to call the day to an end. A complaint was made to Sussex Police, and when we went up to Worthing Police Station to make a complaint, they took Cllr Robinson into an interview room. Once they had finished taking the details of the assault from Cllr Robinson, they sent us all on our way and didn’t even bother to take any witness statements!"

All in all, it sounds like it was a pretty poor day out for the fascists! The BNP are in turmoil at the moment, with financial irregularities, major in-fighting and a collapse in numbers of both support and activists. This doesn't mean it's time for us to step back and allow them to rejuvenate like we have in the past. It's time to increase our opposition and make it harder for them to operate. Let's see a concerted effort across the country to get them off our streets and confine them to the history books, once and for all.
