Crystal Palace fc ultras group, Holmesdale Fanatics (HF05 ) have released a communique stating that they will be boycotting the upcoming match between Crystal Palace and Ipswich in protest over rising ticket prices at football and Ipswich Town's exploitation of visiting supporters which is out of synch with most of the league. They highlight the fact that home tickets are priced at 10 whereas away supporters are being forced to pay £31 in advance and £35 on the day.

the full statement is shown below

We have come to the decision that there will be no HF going to the Ipswich away game as an active group. This is due to the ridiculous pricing of the game to Palace supporters – charging a disgusting amount on adult ticket to supporters turning up on the day. To make things worse, Ipswich are allowing their home fans to buy adult tickets for £10.

When the HF was first formed nearly 6 years ago, one of the reasons was our passion of hatred against what modern football has become and we are against the way the working class man is being priced out of the game

We will not be running the HF coach like we did to Peterbrough, Leeds and Doncaster. This is an HF decision and we do not want to discourage any Palace fan from travelling to the game and cheering on our lads. It was a hard decision for us to make but one we need to stick to for moral reasons.
