Yesterday Occupy Manchester, which has been occupying the Peace Gardens for two weeks, called a general assembly. Over the course of the day around 400 people took part in discussion, debate and dancing as the sun shined down in Piccadilly Gardens.

The next general assembly has been called for Wednesday 6.30pm at the Peace Gardens. Meanwhile the occupation is ongoing so please think about joining or supporting the 30-40 occupiers.
