Ten years after British forces entered the war-ravaged country, the [London Evening] Standard has uncovered shocking evidence of an eight-year-old girl who was married off to a policeman for cash. She was sold to the officer, in his twenties, in clear breach of laws introduced two years ago to protect women.
She was then the subject of a remarkable battle that symbolises the plight of girls in Afghanistan. Her story vividly highlights the failure to bring about social reforms in the stricken nation, despite the long presence of British forces.

Nobody really got involved in it because it made us all look bad.
But maybe I should collect the info together and send it out to Chinese, Iranian or Russian media so they can deal with it. Hell, who knows, they might even be able to use it to justify an aerial bombardment of London, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, and of course Bradford, home to the evil itself. All in the name of justice of course.
Maybe we could even use it to carry out targeted assasinations of David Cameron and his cadres George Osbourne, Theresa May and the rest of the English dictatorship. We could bomb Downing Street, the Treasury, the MOD, the Admiralty and anything that looks like the civil service. We could print up playing cards with their faces on them so our brave and heroic troops can recognise them before they are executed in the street. Then maybe we could set about placing car bombs and explosives in shopping malls, cafeteria's and hospitals to encourage the British to divide and fight each other along political or cultural grounds, just so we could justify our presense on humanitarian grounds (somebodies got to rescue them from each other!!!).
Then, when we have a few hundred thousand dead, we could put 'our man' into place to tell the world that the English are terrorists (except the ones who aint) and need to be defeated and that our forces must stay until the job is done, no matter how long it takes. After all, that would be the decent thing to do. The world would expect nothing less.
All the while, we could re-arrange our economy to suit the new reality and make a bucket load-a-cash in the process.
Then when its all over, I could announce that the 9 year old in Bradford, who was raped by her fathers friends...never existed, I simply made the whole thing up!!!!!
