On Wednesday the 21st of September Sparks from the north-east went out to protest against the proposed 35% cut to their wages. Starting at 6am, the Sparks picketed the site entrance of the Tyne Tunnel getting more workers involved with their demonstration.

They were victorious in promoting their cause, and getting the bosses to pay them until 10.30, despite protesting on the gate.
