Solidarity with Omar Ibrahim March 26th Anti-Cuts Protest Defendant

Omar Ibrahim, a comrade from Glasgow, was charged with violent disorder following his arrest outside Topshop in Oxford Street London on March 26th during the anti-cuts demonstrations.
His trial starts tomorrow Thursday 22nd September at Kingston Crown Court and is expected to last two days.
Omar has been given legal advice that if found guilty he could face a prison sentence of 18 months.
Omar states, “I understand the Dale Farm Eviction notice is being heard on the Friday and would like any supporters travelling down to London for my trial to head to that on the Friday as a priority over my case. “
