Camp Frack Update

anon@indymedia.org (windy) | 17.09.2011 08:00

The tents are up, the sun is shining, the porridge is hot!

OK, we're lying about the sun, though we did see a weak glimmer coming over the horizon earlier. Just as the solar panel roadies were getting their hi-vis jackets on the pounding rain returned... bring your wellies!

But, seriously, it's brightening up, and campers are moving about the field adjusting guy ropes, peering hopefully at the windmill, and clutching warm drinks provided from the kitchen.

The mornng meeting has been re-adjusted to a 9.00 a.m. start so even if you set off now you'll probably miss it and the more exciting parts of the day's activities will just be getting going by the time you arrive.

There's a pleasant mix of seasoned campaigners  re-acquainting themselves and local first-timers getting involved in this eco-lark now that the craziness has shown up on theirown  doorsteps.

Come on down, you know you want to!
