How to burn cars and influence people

Rioters Inc. | 13.09.2011 11:31 | August Riots

System failure.

How to burn cars and influence people
How to burn cars and influence people

The cars of the wealthy classes, the corporations and the state are the fuel of our urban barricades and the flame of our international solidarity. Using simple, easy to reproduce methods we cause chaos, in an act of social war against the capitalist system and consumer culture. Class insurrection against the prison society.

Funny....

13.09.2011 16:02

....but very dangerous. I think if it was written more comically and with cartoons, then the risk of having the server seized would be reduced. I find it hard to to agree with the poster's sentiment. Surely there are better ways to bring about social change than burning cars?

Says a lot about this site

when these kinds of articles are promoted rather than censored

totally irresponsible, aiding illegal activities

This should be cause enough for the police to seize the server - permanently

Dear police - do something about this - it is illegal.

How to get the IndymediaUK site closed down by the authorities

14.09.2011 17:44

..by keeping posts like this on the site.

Free speech up to a point... IMC Guidelines need to say something about not allowing posts which provoke violence, because the state will and shut the site down.

I'm sure IMC mods, not being cops, could be discerning and only remove those posts which are obviously just being reactionary.

rock and hard place

"I'm sure IMC mods, not being cops, could be discerning and only remove those posts which are obviously just being reactionary."

Indeed. However, they did actually promote the two posts to begin with so they have shown a clear 'support' for them.

Guess they stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, not clever leaving something that promotes illegal activities on line, on the other hand - they don't want to be seen as weak willed Guardian readers to their hardcore readership. Guess they have just unpromoted them and left them there so they can always claim ignorance to their existance if push comes to shove.
