A product is being sold by Fred and Friends mocking people with OCD. Among other places, its on sale in UK department store Selfridges.

Boycott Fred and Friends and Selfridges for mocking people with mental health problems

Think Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is funny? Would you like to have to do things a certain number of times each day?

Thought not. Fred and Friends do, though.

They are cashing in on OCD by marketing an "OCD chopping board" with precise instructions for chopping.

Really, it's the name that is offensive, making light of the condition.

Chief executive of OCD-UK and OCD sufferer, Ashley Fulwood, said: "The chopping board is cashing in on the debilitating nature of OCD...

"As a therapy technique, its use would be counter-productive. The manufacturer doesn’t realise the impact OCD can have; it can ruin people’s lives, careers and families."

The idiots at The Awesomer think the board is hilarious, however, saying "You can wash it twenty times after you use it too." They don't deserve a link.

Contact Fred and Friends here to tell them what you think of their mockery of people with mental health issues.

I'm not buying anything from Fred and Friends until they apologise, withdraw the item, and donate $400 to an OCD charity.

I'm also going to boycott Selfridges, which is stocking the chopping board.
