2011 OK - WAR ACROSS THE UK

The first year of the ConDem coalition has seen the biggest student demonstrations of the last 30 years, the biggest trade union demonstrations of the last 30 years and now the biggest riots of the last 30 years.
The riots have raised profound questions about our society.
There is now a debate over diverse issues including poverty, power, inequality, families, policing, racism, employment, crime, community, housing, education, and the situation of young people today: Come to the meeting and join in the discussion about how we - at the grassroots and base of society - can take things forward.

CULTURAL INTERLUDE...

The meeting will also feature two respected writers on the local arts scene - Mab Jones and Jack Pascoe - treating us to a short *live* performance of their acclaimed works, 'Working Class Heaven/Working Class Hell' (Mab) and 'The Big Society' (Jack) and maybe even some music ;)

SPREAD THE WORD - LIKE BUTTER ON TOAST!
