Critical NHS demo on Wednesday

Leaked e-mails have revealed secret plans to sell 20 of our UK hospitals to overseas companies, 50,000 NHS jobs are being cut, front-line services are under threat, and NHS privatisation is being pursued under the guise of promoting an ideology of "competition" at the expense of collaborative practice.

UK tax-payers spent generations paying to help build-up the NHS, and while bankers continue to rake-in billions despite their catalogue of catastrophic failures, without any real democratic mandate, the Coalition's response to an ageing population is to undermine access to the entitlements it took decades for British workers to earn in the first place.

PLEASE join the protest against NHS privatisation - this Weds Sept 7th, 6.30pm, St Thomas' Hospital, London SE1 7EH, march to Parliament, then join the candlelit vigil at 9.30pm. Health workers wear your uniforms (and, no disrespect to anyone with strong ideological convictions, but please DON'T bring any ideologically radical symbols, banners or flags). Please forward the protest details to all your workmates & friends.
