So much for equality under the law

Sick Society

After the riots:
“In Manchester, Eoin Flanagan, 18, pleaded guilty to theft after he was arrested in Oxford Road with two jumpers and two pieces of musical equipment; he was jailed for eight months.
At Camberwell Green magistrates, Nicholas Robinson, 23, an electrical engineering student with no previous convictions, was jailed for the maximum permitted six months after pleading guilty to stealing bottles of water worth £3.50 from Lidl in Brixton. “

do you feel the looters sentence should be less; the womans sentence should be more; or both?

can you put some figures that you think would be fair?

answer to question

To answer Toby's (possibly rhetorical) question:

The looters should get medals, not prison or fines.

People who have slaves should have their wealth stripped from them and have their housing confiscated from them.

People who use the cover of the rioting to mug ordinary people or burn ordinary homes should get a kicking.
