EDL Yorkshire are planning a 4-town "flash demo" touring through Halifax, Leeds, Huddersfield and Dewsbury at an unconfirmed date in the future. This could mean as soon as Saturday, to co-incide with the start of the football season.

Anti-fascists must get the word out now, and groups from accross Yorkshire should begin to work together to counter this. Although this demonstration will most probably end up looking like a small pitiful afternoon pub-crawl through several town centres, which stands a good chance of being cut short by the police as they travel from place to place, it shows us that we must remain vigilant.

There is also a possibility of a larger EDL demonstration taking place in West Yorkshire at a later date. Huddersfield looks a likely destination. Work needs to begin now in getting ready to oppose it.
