Secret night deportation can they get any lower ?

anon@indymedia.org (One of No Borders) | 23.06.2011 11:55 | London

Most people are now aware of the massive success we had earlier this week in stopping the deportation flight to Baghdad of several Iraqi refugees.  The UK Border Agency clearly unhappy about being blocked this way obtained an overnight injunction by a sympathetic judge ( we understand at 11.30 last night) and all the refugees were transported to RAF Brize Norton where a charted jet was waiting.  They left UK soil at 0630 this morning.

Words can't explain how we all feel and the event has established two new developments that are worrying

1 The use of secret, fastracked injunctions that activists do not know about until afterwards

2 The use of RAF facilities rather than civilian airports.

We are trying to make contact with our brothers in Iraq and establish if they are safe.
