US Trots in sharedealing scandal

Quite ironic that Trots like to go on "state capitalism " and "deformed workers's states" but the SWP's fraternal party in the US is actually capitalist with shareholdings in US capitalist monopoly Caterpillar . I wonder what the trendy Trots here think, and do the SWP and SP here have investments! How are they going to explain that?

Hate Castro - but love Caterpillar

So it would be nice to hear an ISO member try and explain how a supposedly real socialist organization can be funded by money made from Caterpillar stock (think about how Israel uses these machines as well). Their Socialism conference, their books, and their bi-monthly paper are all funded by money made in the stock market.

Are you sure that this is the ISO's Center for Economic Research ? Google Center for Economic Research and the search will turn out quite a few institutions with that name.

The full title for the ISO linked organisation is the Centre for Economic Research and Social Change which is not the title given in the Federal Statement reproduced above.

please check your facts, the ISO (US) & SWP (UK) went their seprate ways several years ago. I have many disagreements with the views and actions of the SWP but please don't spread shit, otherwise we'll all just bedoing the mass media's job for them...
