Sectarianisim in the North Of Eire, EDL on the streets of England. Ever noticed that in times of economic strife there is always a group who wish to "blame" another section of society, whether it be religious hatred(Catholic/Muslim) economic, or other excuses which detract from the real problem; Government. It is by these divide and rule tactics that they regain strength and power, weakening the masses and our movements. No to loyalisim,no to the EDL/Casuals united. These are lackeys af the state, street thugs. Time for resistance, reclaim the streets!!

..A number of people have been injured after rioters attacked homes in east Belfast overnight.

Police say more than 100 Protestant teenagers and men threw rocks, bottles and bricks at Catholic homes in the Short Strand area of the city.

Witnesses described groups of men wearing balaclavas and camouflage clothing gathering in the lower Newtownards Road area.

According to Northern Ireland's UTV, a number of homes on both sides were attacked and a police landrover set ablaze.

Shortly before 10pm, police confirmed they were dealing with reports of disorder in the Bryson Street area of the city, where a number of people had gathered.

Officers said petrol bombs had been thrown but there were no injuries reported.

Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area after a second night of trouble.

Sinn Fein councillor for the area Niall O'Donnghaile, who was at the scene, claimed the violence was deliberately organised by loyalists.

"We've had upwards of 60 to 100 masked men in army fatigues and balaclavas coming down the Castlereagh Road and attacking homes in the Short Strand," he told UTV.

"They subsequently moved round to the bottom of the lower Newtownards Road, all heavily armed with bottles, bricks, fireworks and petrol bombs."
