ASSIST Sheffield are proud to be holding their annual World Over music concert in the Cathedral this year, bringing the community together to celebrate diversity in the heart of the city at the end of Refugee week.
Music, spoken word and cuisine from all over the world will make this a night to remember.
Fresh from WOMAD's stage, this years headliners, 9-piece Rafiki Jazz are fronted by an electrifying all-Yorkshire quartet including Sheffield's own Zanzibari Real World recording artist Mim Suleiman and the cool stylings of bossa-jazz singer Rosie Brown.
Performers from Sheffield's many world communities will add spice to the evening with a variety of music, dance and song.
A long interval will give ample opportunity to sample foods from around the globe. A perfect evening of family entertainment (free admission for under 12's) - promises to be a highlight of the cultural calendar year.
