Dead Crow Records are excited to announce that the facebook group “Let’s Get Strange Red Earth to Number One at Christmas” membership is up to 1,400 and growing.

Dead Crow Records are excited to announce that the facebook group “Let’s Get Strange Red Earth to Number One at Christmas” membership is up to 1,400 and growing. Increased popularity of the band could well lead to chart success this year.
The facebook group was created last year by fans of Strange Red Earth who wanted to see more exposure to the song ‘Limbo of the Alsorans’. “Strange Red Earth weren’t playing it in their live set at the time, but there was a real buzz about this particular track” said Pete Herring, co-founder of Dead Crow Records. The facebook group was set up after frustrated fans who loved the song so much simply knew it would be successful once a decent amount of exposure had been given.
The facebook group had a slow start but after some encouragement of other SRE fans, the membership slowly grew up to 600 at the turn of the year. The recent formation of the record label by Strange Red Earth fans has resulted in memberships soaring. There is a further push to music lovers of the song at the Summer Moon Festival this Saturday “Not only will Strange Red Earth be performing Limbo of the Alsorans among their set, there will be a push to promote the 2 current albums available to download from iTunes and Amazon MP3, ‘Otherworld’ and ‘Preacherdog’ which includes the Limbo track” said Grom Harbor of Strange Red Earth’s record label Dead Crow Records.
