UK Census contractor Lockheed Martin hacked

Lockheed Martin, one of the worlds largest arms companies and the company that was hired to handle the UK Census data by the government amidst large scale protests has suspended remote access to it's network due to a breach of it's security systems.

Unknown (or at least unidentified) hackers broke into the EMC divisions network and made off with unspecified information related to the security keys that are used to generate passwords to access their systems. Whether this has left the census information being processed by Lockheed Martin available to these unknown attackers is also unclear, but it is suspected that an attack of this level of sophistication would most likely have come from a state intelligence department.
