UK Gov Pays Fees of Rich International Students

anon | 31.05.2011 00:37

The UK Government is paying up to £12,000 towards the fees of International students, plus air travel, plus living costs.

The students chosen are always the richest of the rich in developing countries- they are the only ones who have had the resources to get to university entrance level. Further, they are often the sons and daughters of the power elite of brutal dictatorships that deny access to education to there own people. Then why does the UK gov use its 'cultural' agency, the british council to administer such an unfair scheme- especially considering the gov attitude to UK student finance. There is no record of the total spent anually, its a secret- democracy don't you love it!
