The Big Society Hospital returned to Oxford on Saturday as activists fro Oxford Save Our Services, Keep Our NHS Public, and several other groups converged on Cornmarket to highlight the disastrous implications of the NHS reforms & cuts. Would you let a Big Society volunteer operate on you?
Several of the activists went on on temporarily occupy nearby banks with a simple message - "we pay out taxes, why won't you?" The financial crisis was caused by the banks, who have now returned to paying out massive bonuses.
Meanwhile the government, made up of Tories (Cameron = "There will be no top down reform of the NHS") and Lib-Dems (Clegg = "We will remove student tuition fees"), are asking us to trust them that the are listening to us about the NHS.
