Fighting for our lives! - Defend the NHS - 17 May - IWW Block

London IWW | 13.05.2011 09:26 | Workers' Movements

March with the IWW to call for direct action this Tuesday

IWW Healthworkers Union and London IWW will be present on next Tuesday's March to Save the NHS. We are attending as health workers, ancillary staff and service users to call for direct action to defend all our futures, from the jobs of all those who work in the NHS to the patients whose lives they save.

Lansley's vicious attempt to destroy social healthcare has caused outrage - we need to turn that outrage into action at all levels. If we lose the fight to stop the NHS from being dismembered and taken over by private companies, we will have lost the struggle to stop the privatisation of our entire society. We are fighting for our lives.

Join us on Tuesday 17th May at 5.30pm on Gower St under the IWW flags.

Time: 17 May · 17:30
Location: Assemble University College Hospital, Gower St.

--> 6PM march to Whitehall

About IWW Healthworkers

But IWW should know more than anyone else about the danger posed by agent provocateurs, so keep it peaceful folks ;)
